CONGRATULATIONS SCJR!!!!!
Our 3rd annual RALLY was a great SUCCESS!!! Each and everyone of you deserve
a well earned pat on the back. And give yourselves a pat as well. We had
24 skis sign up and do the TRIVIA RUN and we had over 50 people attend
including our guests of honor. SHARON HORSMAN'S daughter ELIZABETH, and
a whole bunch of cancer kid survivors and some kids still actively receiving
treatment like my granddaughter JULIA. They made our day extra special.
AND we collected well over $1800 for CANDLELIGHTERS! We'll have the final
tally tomorrow nite at our meeting. We also have some bid stuff left over
like some hats and life jackets. So we'll have that stuff at the meeting
as well. Pictures of the day will follow and we'll have more pix at our
Website. Thank God for all of the food, the beautiful weather, the board
members that worked so hard to put all of the loose ends together, and
for the great camaraderie that we all experienced just from being there,
and for all of the businesses and people that were kind enough to donate
items for our auction. Like I always say, no one ever feels better about
themselves than when they unselfishly do something for someone else. So
you clubbers should be feeling pretty bloomin' good right about now. God
