| Saturday's clean up at SCJR PARK was a snap. In fact, it was so quick we departed for Lake Washington by 9:10 am. 10 SCJR clubbers were greeted with mirror smooth water and bright blue skies. Like last week when we were successfully lead through the wilds by JOHN WILANSKY, this week we were lead by JOHN KEREKES. Through the twisties and over the mirror smooth lakes we ventured forth northward 33 miles to POSSUM BLUFF where we hung out and some of us swung on the rope swing into the rapidly flowing river below while the rest hung out and enjoyed the ambiance and quiet of the day and the wild atmosphere of Florida in its natural state. Then we traveled back to lunch at LONE CABBAGE. After a peaceful chowdown we returned to the boat ramp at Lake Washington about 2:30 pm reflecting on the day and looking forward to our next adventure. JENSEN BEACH here we come!!! |
