Mullet Lake June 08
| Howdy mates....Just thought I'd give you a run down on our adventure this
past Saturday.... We met up at Mullet Lake Park in Geneva on what turned out to be a beautiful day for jetskiing!!....We started out with 17 skis but a couple of Kawasakis malfunctioned (just keeping score...last week it was a Honda!)...Anyway, we headed South down towards Lake Harney detouring onto Deep Creek, a beautiful tributary full of twisting turns....We then headed back North and stopped at Gator Landing for lunch....It seems they were suffering a malfunction of their own!....The electricity was out but they managed to serve us some yummy fare in spite of it!....After indulging we ran up to Lake Monroe, which was incredibly flat for an afternoon!.....We horsed around in lake for a while and then started back to our launching point....Paul Malloy had done his homework and using his GPS, was able to take us back through the back waters, eliminating a long "Idle Zone"....Good job Paul!!....All in all, it was a fun day and enjoyed by everyone.... |
