Howdy y'all! Our St John's ride Saturday was a big hit. 24 skis wound their way north some 30 miles to Hat Bill Park by Route 46. Folks brought their lunches and we snacked at Hat Bill. Weather was threatening and a few folks were nervous about the possibilities of rain and lightning so we did not dally much anywhere. We left at about 9:30 and arrived back about 3pm. And we didn't even lose anyone. Just kidding, we've never lost anyone on any of out trips despite the best efforts of some to get lost or not pay attention. A BIG thanks to DANNY OLIVER, aka. CAPT TERRIFIC for volunteering his expertise to lead us in to the deep wilderness of the St. John's River and get us back safely.
