Space Coast
Jet Riders (SCJR) is a chartered American
Watercraft Association (AWA) club, located on the beautiful Space
Coast of Florida. Currently, we have members not only from all over Florida,
but also from as far away as New Jersey.
The SCJR
Club is a group of fun-loving, responsible personal watercraft (PWC) (more
commonly known as "jetski") riders, always looking for new waters
to explore and new friends who "support the sport."
Waters and
areas explored on club rides include:
Indian and
Banana Rivers
Sebastian Inlet
Silver Glen Springs
St. Augustine
St. John's River
Suwanee River
Jensen Beach
Lovers Key
Key Largo ...even the Bahamas!
You are invited on any of our rides listed on the Calendar page, or to
attend any of our monthly meetings. Feel free to contact anyone on the
Executive Board to learn more about the club, too.
Our monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30
p.m., located at:

I have a real passion for our sport and want every PWC owner to
understand how important it is for them to be involved in protecting
our sport from those that want to restrict our right to ride.
The best way to protect our sport is to join a club like SCJR
and the AWA on a national level. There is strength in numbers.
Stand up and be counted. If not you, who?
• Born and raised in Indiana.
• I attended Purdue University and University of Central Florida.
• Moved to Florida in 1978.
• I have a grown son Mason (Portland, Oregon) and a grown
daughter Elizabeth (West Melbourne).
• I teach American History and Journalism (Yearbook) at Melbourne
High School.
• My first ski came in 2005 and I immediately became a member
of SCJR and AWA. I have been very involved ever since and have met
wonderful new friends and discovered beautiful riding places in
Florida with the club.
• My favorite rides are the Gulf at Lover’s Key, Fernandina
Beach, Jensen Beach, but mostly the lazy days of summer break on
the Indian River. Manatees, dolphins, turtles, it doesn't get any
better than that! Join to learn where Dead Tree Island and Horseshoe
Crab Bluff are!!!!!!!
• A native Floridian, born in Tampa, but raised right here
in paradise…Brevard
• FSU graduate, our son is currently attending FSU!
• Spends time: on the water riding my fast and sassy ski,
Jezabelle!
• carousing with family and friends
• educating fine young minds (yes, I too am a teacher)
• reading about all manner of things
• sunsets, sunrises, dolphins, manatees, gators etc.
• My first PWC ride was an attempt to find something interesting
to do with, then 11 year old, son during summer vacation. Spending
that “coupon” opened up a whole new world of delight,
intrigue and joy.
• A decade and five skis later, my fabulous husband, Frank,
and I have the ultimate hobby. Space Coast Jet Riders has had an
incredible impact on expanding our horizons. New friends, new scenery,
new rides, shared safety/mechanical information and sponsoring charitable
events makes SCJR the best club organization
