Greetings crew!!.....Well as I promised, we had a weekend of purpose and fun!....As for the purpose portion, only Curt and Tom Wilson showed up for the KBB Clean-up of the Spoil Islands ...not exactly a great showing on behalf of the club!.....But as for the fun portion, we had 19 skis show up at Lone Cabbage!!.....The weather was GREAT and we set out led by Danny Oliver shortly after 11 AM....He took us North, as only he can do, through the twisting gyrations of the St Johns, stopping occasionally for refreshments.....The ride was both challenging and exhilarating and was completed without major mishaps, although Frank, at one point, was determined to prove his Kawasaki was amphibious and wound up high and dry (a Kodak moment missed! ....lol)....other than that, the ride went off without a hitch!!....Curt's pictures are posted on our website and hopefully there will be more when Frank sends in the pics he took!.....Talk to y'all soon!
